How Safe is the Diving Set with Cylinder?

For the user's safety, it is strictly prohibited to use any OceanX products at depths exceeding 3 meters.

The set with the cylinder meets PPE (EU)2016/425 standards and has been tested according to the EN 250:2014 standard for respiratory equipment. This is the European standard for diving equipment to meet the requirements at depth and under high breathing load. Testing included checking the device at a breathing rate of 62.5 l min-1, submerged in water at an absolute pressure of 6 BAR (equivalent to a depth of 50 meters). However, using any OceanX product at depths exceeding 3 meters is prohibited.

Before using any OceanX products, it is necessary to read and understand all Safety Guidelines and the User Manual.

Can I Travel by Air with the Cylinder?

Yes. When transporting by air, YOU MUST remove all air from the cylinder and unscrew the regulator. You must also declare that the cylinder is empty and open. Visual and hydrostatic tests should be performed before use.

Yes! We offer a 24-month warranty on our products.

What Depth Can the Set with Cylinder Operate At?

For the user's safety, the set is limited to a maximum diving depth of 3 meters. Nothing will stop you from going deeper, but it is FORBIDDEN to go below 3 meters.

What Happens if I Go Below 3 Meters?

Nothing will happen to your OceanX cylinder; this restriction has been introduced solely to limit the risk to users. Even at a depth of 1 meter, there are risks to the user, so it is essential to follow the safety instructions.

How Do I Know How Much Air is in the Cylinder?

The cylinder has an integrated pressure gauge, making it easy to check the air pressure.

How Long Does it Take to Fill the Cylinder?

With the OceanX hand pump:

• About 15-20 minutes
• You must fill the cylinder in 5-minute sessions and allow the pump to cool for one or two minutes due to the heat generated by the high pressure.

With the OceanX turbocharger:

• 10 minutes

Can I Use My Own Pump/Compressor?

Our cylinders are compatible only with OceanX filling methods. Our OceanX hand pump and turbocharger have built-in air and oil filters to ensure the air is clean and safe.
